Winter Spring 2017



Saturday Series: Printmaking – Textile Workshop

May 20th, 9:30 – 12:00
Ages 8 – 12, $90 – 3 spots open

Make a 12" x12" pillow with fabric you designed! 
($10 materials fee included for 12" pillow insert)

Each artist will design and print a repetitive pattern that they create. We'll start by brainstorming and sketching our designs. Then we will create a printing plate and apply our design to fabric with paints and inks. Each artist will take home their own 12”  original artist pillow made with the fabric they have created. Visit our Childrens Classes page to register.


Plein Air painting with artist Alan Bull

Adult Workshop –  May 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st
Wednesdays, 9:30 – 12:00, $160 – 2 spots open

Join instructor Alan Bull for a Plein Air painting workshop. Creating a painting on location can be challenging, and Alan will offer demonstrations that cover the basics of how to capture a scene on the spot. This workshop will feature individual instruction in a relaxed group setting to help each student improve their ability with pictorial composition, color mixing and brushwork. Locations will be determined prior to the workshop. Students may choose to work in oils, acrylics or watercolors. Materials list will be provided


Watercolor with artist Marion Hall

Adult Workshop –  May 11th, 18th, 25th and June 1st
Thursdays, 9:30 – 12:00, $160 – Full

This workshop will focus on how to infuse your paintings with vibrant color and contrast. We will learn techniques to paint the components of a simple landscape. Determined by the interest of the group, we will explore water, sky, rocks, foliage and more, You are welcome to bring in prior work for critique. Please bring favorite photos to work from.
