Saturday Series – Fashion Drawing Workshop

March 10th from 9:30 – 12:00, ages 8 – 12  $80 – FULL

Discover what it takes to be a successful fashion designer. Students will learn how fashion designers use color, fabric, texture and pattern. We will discuss design elements, styles and trends. Each student will create an Inspiration Board using their designs, sketches, fabrics and details. All materials supplied.

Saturday Series – Animal Life Drawing (Owl)

March 31st, 9:30 – 12:00, ages 8 – 12  $80 – 6 spots open

For this workshop we will have an owl in the studio. Thank you Wingmasters! Our young artists will view our model close up and observe every detail. In addition to creating their art work, the children will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn amazing facts about owls!

Spring 2018 – Oil Painting Workshop with Colleen Kidder

Adult Workshop –  March 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th –  1 spot open
Thursdays, 9:30 – 12:00, $160

This workshop will focus on approaching composition with simplified design by applying paint with an emphasis on creativity and individual expression. Techniques will be demonstrated such as color mixing and using different brushes to achieve a sense of emotion in a painting. Supply list will be provided. Summer 2018 – Watercolor with artist Marion Hall

Adult Workshop – June 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th – FULL
Thursdays, 9:30 – 12:00, $160

This workshop will focus on how to infuse your paintings with vibrant color and contrast. We will learn techniques to paint the components of a simple landscape. Determined by the interest of the group, we will explore water, sky, rocks, foliage and more, You are welcome to bring in prior work for critique. Please bring favorite photos to work from.
